The Oak Park Area Arts Council Presents a Printmaking Art Exhibit on Display at Rush Oak Park Hospital
The Oak Park Area Arts Council and Rush Oak Park Hospital is proud to present an exhibit of prints by members of Expressions Graphics during the months of March and April 2010 at Rush Oak Park Hospital, 520 S. Maple, Oak Park, Illinois.
Expressions Graphics is a non-profit printmaking cooperative and fine arts gallery. Their volunteer-run facilities include a working press shop committed to safe and eco-friendly alternative methods, and a gallery space open to the public. They offer classes and education outreach programs for children and adults of all skill levels. The gallery at Expressions Graphics presents monthly exhibitions, hosts receptions and printmaking demonstrations in order to share their expertise with the community and to promote a general interest in art.
Participating artists in the exhibit are: Jan Anderson, Diana Narwarki, Janet Schill, Carol Friedle, Carlos Barberena, Marcia Palazzolo, Marcia Palazzolo, Jill Kramer, Bev Keys, Claude Aimee Villeneuve, Mary Ellen Ponsford, Rene Arceo, Reynaldo Santiago, Ben Varela, Audrey Brown and Sandra Dawson.

The Oak Park Area Arts Council has worked to bring exposure to area artists for many years. In addition to the exhibit at Rush Oak Park Hospital, the Arts Council also sponsors exhibits at Forest Park National Bank, Oak Park Village Hall, and Wm. B. Sullivan Realty.
Founded in 1906, Oak Park Hospital is sponsored by the Wheaton Franciscan Sister and is guided by their philosophy of human and community development. As a member of the Rush System for Health, Oak Park Hospital is linked to the resources of Rush-Presbyterian-St. Luke’s Medical Center, a national leader in medical teaching and research.
Oak Park Hospital is conveniently located near the intersection of Harlem Avenue and Madison Street in Oak Park. Free parking is available for patients and visitors.
