Oak Park Area Arts Council Welcomes New Board Members
The Oak Park Area Arts Council announces the addition of five individuals to its Board of Directors:
Anna Bernadska is on faculty at Columbia College Chicago and is a PhD student at University of Illinois at Chicago.
Germaine Caprio is the CEO of Majamas in Oak Park and is a member of the Oak Park Arts District.
Robin Gottlieb is a Psychology Consultant/Clinical Psycholosist for DCFS and is Co-President of the Roosevelt Middle School PTO in River Forest.
David Manola is Owner of Boulevard Fine Art in Forest Park and Clarendon Hills.
Lance D. Taylor is an Attorney at the Law Office of Lance D. Taylor and a founding member of Open Door Repertory Company.
Because we believe art is intrinsic to the quality of life in our communities, the Oak Park Area Arts Council celebrates supports and promotes artists and arts organizations in Oak Park, River Forest and Forest Park. By raising funds for the arts, and advocating for policies that promote the arts, we enhance the social, economic, and cultural foundations of our communities.
The Oak Park Area Arts Council (OPAAC) is a not-for-profit community arts organization that is partially funded by grants from the Illinois Arts Council, a state agency, and the Villages of Oak Park, Forest Park and River Forest. The Oak Park Area Arts Council has also received arts jobs preservation support from the Illinois Arts Council made possible by the National Endowment for the Arts through funds allocated from the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009.
